I am a maker of unique patterned glass using primarily glass powders.
I don’t consider myself a “fuser”. But I do heat glass in a kiln. Working with primarily glass powders I create individual pieces each with their own pattern and colors. My influences are from the ocean, the forest and the coast. I express this connection in an abstract approach yet technically controlling the material while using the principles of art and design.
I am a graduate of Tyler School of Art with many years of working with glass in all forms. I have been interviewed for SVOS sponsored “Talk Art” and show my work through festivals and art shows. Presently I split my time between functional pieces with glass powders and new surface treated glass panels with glass enamels.
