I am a passionate photographer and large format digital print maker.
For me, photography is about learning to see…and then, converting that vision to a fine art print worthy of display on your wall.
I find inspiration for my images in adventure travel. I seek out photos that want to be seen as large prints that reflect the natural beauty and the essence of those special places, or the magical moments of an intimate encounter with a majestic wild animal in its natural environment. Ironically, I also find beauty and intrigue in humankind’s architectural constructs, scenes as varied as cityscapes and bridges, old barns and farms, or decaying windows and doors.
My subjects are as varied as the terrain where they are found: wild animals, desert canyons, mountain peaks, ocean scenes, city skylines and architectural elements.
Though I’ve been practicing this craft since my first darkroom at 12 years old, I’m still constantly challenged.
I am a true convert from film to digital. The quality and control obtainable with digital tools today empowers the user in ways never before possible. This has enriched my experience at every step of the process. I am now even more energized and passionate about my photography.
I personally do all of the steps necessary to create a finished work ready to be hung: capturing the image, post processing, archival printing, mounting, and matting; framing; stretching and lacquering.
Prints are typically available in these image sizes:
14”x21”, 20”x30”, 36”x 54” mounted, stretched, and or framed
