ANDROGYNY I : SELF PORTRAIT
“Self-Portrait” is a fine art photography project. It combines film shooting, digital editing and use of contact printing process techniques.
"This is my first series of Self-Portraits, but the models are not exactly all me. I asked models to wear my clothes and to recreate the poses I showed them in order to represent many different version of myself. For this project, I added a Vandyke brown process on vellum paper as the over layer on the ink-jet printed images. These materials perfectly support all the visual effects that I want to present in this series. The rendered effects include the texture of the images, distinct 2 color tone, 3 dimensional vision. These effects show my inner personality. There are 11, 16x20 inch, and 5 8x10 inch images in total, and they are mounted in the gallery standard walnut wood light boxes."
