Capturing motion and beauty

I have always loved drawing and painting. Whether it was technical illustration or capturing a likeness in a portrait. I have also enjoyed painting the energy in nature: breaking waves and galloping horses. People have said my paintings have a romantic feeling.
I have taken numerous art courses at foothill and Stanford and several workshops with renowned artists. I have studied extensively with Ray Mendieta, who taught at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Recently, I have completed a series of fantasy paintings which combine landscapes with my beloved people and horses. I have enjoyed returning full time to art after my retirement and look forward to sharing my work with you.
