Marie Serda

I paint large and small-scaled outdoor settings on properties such as backyards and front yards, full portraits of seated people, and I love to play around with my technique on still life to share my devotion to beauty and love for people. I also love painting forests and beaches.

I am interested in and focus on atmospheres and ambiances, but also on the deep personality of the subject I work with. The delicacy of the thin layers of oil, contrasted with some thicker techniques, is my favorite.

Utah, Oregon, California and France are my sources of inspiration.
