Nancy Woods

Like most artists, I’ve been making art in various forms most of my life. I graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts in 1972. To make a short story long, I started a graphic and sign shop in 1978 specializing in small business brand identity through logo design, collateral materials, and complete signage. After a short stint in “Art to wear”, I found furniture a very creative outlet for new and different forms of art and it’s usable!
I Joined the fabulous group of Artists at the Peninsula Museum of Art in 2013. We had 30 studio artists attached to a free Museum of Art specializing in showcasing exceptional California Artists for no charge to have a Museum show of their work. An incredible environment of professional working artists in studios along with a Museum hosting wonderful shows free to the public. The Museum closed in 2020 having lost our lease.
My art continues back at my home studio because artists just need to create! I like to think my art helps people get in touch with that child within. I call myself a Whimsey Consultant. Let color stimulate your imagination.
