Artist Statement
I fell in love with the Zentangle (TM) Method years ago and became a Certified Zentangle Teacher. To me, using the Zentangle drawing method is a meditative practice that I use daily to bring myself into the present moment. My other passion is creating mixed media collages and calligraphy. These collages are about creating energetic responses while experimenting using acrylics, watercolors, inks, and calligraphy. They reflect the natural world interplaying with my imagination. The spontaneous process allows me to capture these responses and blend vision with experimentation.
