I’ve historically used oils to create my work and in the past few years I’ve experimented with layering acrylic paint. I am enjoying the tactile nature of the process as well as the surprises that emerge as I carve through the sometimes 120 plus layers. This medium allows me to explore the dynamic interplay of colors, textures, and depths that emerge as I carve through the layers. I am enthusiastic about sharing my layered paint carvings and I invite you to engage with my work and explore the intricate layers of color, texture, and meaning I’ve painstakingly crafted. It’s very satisfying to run your fingers across the artwork so you too can experience the joy and wonder I feel when I create these pieces.
