My colorful acrylic paintings are abstractions of visual memories, or, rather than being something remembered, the work is a process of discovery. Many viewers see figurative images in the work, but I think of it as landscapesque.

My most recent solo shows have been at Mendocino Art Center, Lulu’s at the Octagon in Santa Cruz, Milton Marks Conference Center in San Francisco, Moshi Moshi Sushi, San Francisco, and Sacramento Art Foundry Gallery. I received my BA in studio art from Scripps College, Claremont, CA.

I have enjoyed being a studio artist at Sanchez Art Center since 2004, in Studio 4, which I share with Sheila Finch.
