Living in San Jose, CA, nestled in the bustling suburbs of Silicon Valley for over 20 years, I find myself far from where my journey began. Born and raised amidst the lush landscapes of Borneo, I was captivated early on by the world of colors and shapes, spending my childhood days sketching and coloring. At a very young age, I developed a deep affection for drawing and coloring, particularly enjoying landscape pastel lessons. Reflecting on those times, I often wish I had preserved some of my early artwork. It would have been fascinating to see how my skills have evolved since those initial days. Sharing my art always brought me joy and fulfillment. Despite my passion for art, I recognized the practical demands of life. Thus, I decided to take a different path and pursued Computer Studies in college. I have been working in the IT industry for many years since then. The unique circumstances of 2020 gave me a chance to reconnect with my artistic roots and explore painting more deeply. My primary medium is oil, and I love painting landscapes, still life, and figurative scenes. I have deep admiration for artists who embrace realism, such as Audrey Flack, Jesus Navarro and am committed to learning and growing, taking part in online classes and workshops. I enjoy focusing on the details in my paintings, striving to capture the essence of whatever I’m painting in a clear and precise way.
