In 2006 I began my pottery journey with a simple class at the local community college. My first class focused on handbuilding with clay. The following class then moved to the pottery wheel and I was hooked. I continue to fine tune my craft on the pottery wheel. I primarily work with the pottery wheel making functional pieces with strong bold glazes. All my pieces are food safe and fired to cone 6 temperature.
Since leaving the junior college in 2009, I have built my own pottery studio where I continue my practice. My pottery has been shown at a number of shows in the SF Bay Area. I am currently a teacher of hand building and wheel throwing pottery at my studio Art Space on the Coast in Pacifica CA. In addition to teaching I sell my pottery at various retail sites.
