“My heart and soul expand into the aspect of Light. I try to translate and express that quality through acrylic, mixed media painting, as well as through simple interactions of everyday life.”

In the creative process, Amara paints from memory of a quality or feeling she wants to express and not from reference photos. She dose her best to attune to the quality of light and to inner guidance from the Divine. The process includes prayer, movement, conscious awareness, and uplifting inner energy.
Amara is a life long creative who resides in Mountain View California. She is a longtime practitioner of meditation and yoga.
