Through my passion to create compelling works of art I aim to inspire the viewer to contemplate their presence and place in this beautiful world.
I explored my passion for art formally pursuing BA and MA in Art in the 70s and 80s. My diagnosis in 2021 and treatment for Cancer, rekindled my passion for art. Being retired from the technology sector allows me to focus on art full time.
Each piece I work on informs the next and adds to my personal visual vocabulary.
I find inspiration in long walks photographing nature. Light kisses and wind invigorates the landscape.
I find inspiration when experimenting with various mediums. My primary mediums are Acrylic, pencil and ink.
I often use stripe and grid motifs to hang my compositions on. The plane, time and motion are important to my pieces.
