Through my acrylic and watercolor paintings, I hope to share with you my deep-felt awe of the interplay of light, form and color. When I come upon a sunlit meadow, a bird in flight, a spectacular flower, a majestic mountain, waves crashing upon rocks, or the magical dance of light and shadow on a bullding’s exterior or interior, I am compelled to grab my camera to capture the beauty of the moment. These photos form the basis of most of my paintings. I began this exploration 14 years ago. I take classes in these media at the Palo Alto Art Center and Pacific Art League where some of my work has been shown.
All proceeds from the "sale" of my paintings will go to either of two charities: Kiwanis Club of Palo Alto Charitable Foundation or the philanthropy committee of the Palo Alto Woman’s Club These organizations make grants to local non profits benefiting the community.
