I am Zarine Mohideen, an artist and writer from Chennai, India currently living in the Bay Area. Art in its various forms has always been a part of my life. My work represents the mélange of various realities that occupy my thoughts. I work primarily with watercolor, ink and pigment to create abstract landscapes of my inner world. When I notice the pulse of my energies shift, I look towards nature, drawing inspiration from flowers and allow my intuition to guide me to create abstract floral work. My pieces are flush with palpable energy, and I am drawn towards bold colors that help uncover my inner state.
