As a self-admitted geek, I love history, science, and math. An avid beachcomber, I am out on the coast almost every day, and find amazing things. Sea glass, trash that has been transformed into gems, is a prize.
I research. I write about finds, and I paint. I take the beauty of our California coast and its flora and fauna and interpret it on canvas. Sea glass provides inspiration for my art – making mixed media pieces that use the glass as both an accent and focus to my creations, along with watercolor, acrylics, and even spray paint.
The ocean and coast are my passion – I want to share it with you.
My work can currently be found at the Sanchez Center in Pacifica, as a part of the Art Guild of Pacifica, at the Ocean Blue Art Vault and at the Coastal Art League. Both Ocean Blue and the Coastal Art League are located on Main Street, in my town of Half Moon Bay.
