SUJATHA KATTIMANI

Shantha S. Kattimani, my mom, is the creator. I am her helper. I help her with the design and combinations. She has over 60+ years of experience with sewing and alterations, making and altering clothes and other fabric goods for family and friends. She is 85 and her kids and grandkids are all grown up, so now she creates other crafts too, mostly with fabric, like bags, aprons, tops/blouses, table runners, placemats, Christmas decorations, wall decorations, tea coasters, pot holders, graduation gifts (not fabric, but with currency denomination bills depending on the gift amount), bags knitted with wire, woollen scarves and sweaters, etc

She loves to be able to share her passion for sewing with the community through her creations.

We aim to reduce waste by repurposing and upcycling designer fabric to create beautiful and functional designs, bringing passion and attention-to-detail to every piece. We volunteer, donate and source from FabMo (https://www.fabmo.org/), a non-profit organization, where they rescue designer materials for creative reuse.
