My art life has lead me from drawing to silk screening then to calligraphy, figure drawing, fashion illustration, mixed media and finally down a most surprising path to Oil Painting. It has always held a fascination for me since I first visited an oil painting class as a young child at a museum in Hartford, Connecticut.

Over the last few years, I have taken basic oil painting classes, leading to studio work and then breaking out into plein air oil painting under several talented artists/instructors. Laurie Johnson Lepkowska, Kristen Olsen , Mark Monsarrat, Tom Chapman and Ray Mendieta have been inspirational and essential in my new found love of oils.

I paint what I love and hopefully that shows in my final artwork. Thank you for viewing my ongoing journey.
