Gone But Not Forgotten

It was here, in my hand, but now it's gone. It seems like just yesterday it went missing. I shrugged it off at the time, I didn't think it was important. Now it seems like I'm reaching for it daily, only to realize it's gone. I will always remember it. There will never be another one like it. The years have not diminished the feeling. In fact, it's hard to describe just how special it was. It was.. Absolutely...Wonder-full. Where would I be today if I hadn't let it go?

Handdyed hand-woven scarf

I measure out the thread that will be used to set-up the loom for weaving. Prior to dressing the loom, I hand-dye it blend the colors together. Once the dye is set, it is washed to remove excess dye then I set up the loom begin to weave. Each scarf will have variations in weave pattern color distribution, making this a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.
