Reflection Of Tranquility
Eileen Wong Cervera
As a photo-realistic oil painter, I specialize in capturing the intricate details of landscapes, still life, and figurative scenes with precision and depth. My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for realism, inspired by artists like Audrey Flack and Jesus Navarro. Each painting is an exploration of light, texture, and emotion, bringing subjects to life with meticulous attention to detail.
Originally from Borneo and now based in San Jose, CA, I rediscovered my passion for painting in 2020 after years in the IT industry. Since then, I have dedicated myself to refining my craft, continuously learning through online classes and workshops. My work has been recognized with multiple awards, and I am an active member of the International Guild Of Realism, California Art Club and Los Gatos Art Association. In addition to personal projects, I focus on commissioned portraits, creating lifelike and meaningful representations that connect with viewers.

Passage to the Sea
This oil painting was created during a trip to Busan. It depicts a place that once served as a refuge for war refugees but has now become famous as a film location. The artwork captures a sense of freedom as one follows the narrow alleyways leading to the sea.

Philae Island
The painting showcases the Temple of Isis bathed in the warm glow of the Egyptian winter sun. The painting captures the timeless allure of the temple, transporting the viewer to a place of ancient wonder and spiritual significance.
Picnic Table Plate
This is a fused glass plate embellished with images of strawberries and cherries, and would be ideal for a picnic or any Spring or summertime event.
Pier’s End Boathouse
This boathouse is in the quaint beach town of Garibaldi, Oregon. The Oregon Coast was my second home while growing up and I find much of my inspirations come from there. Here I was attracted by the reflections of the raised pier.
Pinkness No. 8
This wall sculpture is made of stitched white industrial felt over wooden stretcher bars. The pink color comes from light reflecting off the brightly lit interior of the piece.
Plastic Bag, Floating
Weft ikat, handwoven in linen, dyed with natural indigo and fiber reactive dyes
Poems to the Youth
This acrylic artwork was inspired by Richter's blurring technique, abstracting and universalizing the image. Rather than depicting a specific individual, it portrays a figure with universal characteristics, allowing anyone to recall their childhood and family, fostering a shared experience.
Poised
I was delighted to have an egret visit me on my plein air trip to Ed Levin County Park. I was able to take a picture just before it flew off.
Presa Las Colonias
Photo composite made up of two images. Art is created using Photoshop and Lightroom. Framed and matted 24"x 16" archival digital photograph printed with 8 color pigment inks on 100% cotton fine art paper. Framed size is 31" x 23".
Primordial Connection
This oil painting is part of Reclaiming Humanity Series. The Reclaiming Humanity Series is my ongoing exploration of dehumanization in the world today. Each piece aims to restore human dignity and connection, offering viewers a space for reflection about our shared humanity, resilience and interdependence.
Pull Enjoy
Collection of found objects, studio detritus, children's toys and sewn objects on a fabric background. Affixed to board.
Pura Vida
This oil painting painting is part of the Pura Vida series, which is my artistic interpretation of Costa Rica's breathtaking natural beauty. It invites viewers to experience the deep connection between the human and natural worlds that defines the essence of Pura Vida.
Rainbow Sun
Let the warmth of the sun warm the colors of this rainbow.Watercolor
Red Fort
The Red Fort, located in Delhi, India. I took pictures while visiting with family and really wanted to depict both the Majestic and massive strength of the red sandstone structure in juxtaposition with the common pigeons now in residence.
Redbud and Eucalyptus on Pomegranate
Eco print on raw silk
Reflection Of Tranquility
Reflections of Tranquility captures a moment of stillness and harmony, where light, water, and nature intertwine. The vibrant lily rises from the reflective surface, its colors glowing against the cool, rippling water. The interplay of texturessmooth lily pads, shimmering reflections, and fluid ripplescreates a sense of depth and movement within serenity. This painting invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and appreciate the delicate balance of nature. Through a photo-realistic approach, I sought to capture not just the beauty of the scene, but the quiet, meditative feeling it evokes.
