Lucey Bowen

I use painting, drawing, collage and found materials to create two and three dimensional objects. My work is both personal and global, reflecting my travels and residencies around the world, and my fascination with culture, as in Culinary History, and with Science, as in Geology. Recipient of a BA in Art History from Vassar College, with classes in painting and sculpture, I later studied with Sally Bishop at the Worcester Art Museum School, and with Bay Area Chinese Brush painters Yu Chun-Hui and Ming Ren.
