I am passionately curious about how art gives form to energy, thought, and emotion. I find endless fascination in the tension between seeming opposites—effort and ease, release and restraint, intuition and intention.

My current work explores how we occupy space alone and with each other. What do we each bring to a space, and how does our individual energy affect that of those around us? What existed in our shared spaces before we arrived, and how do we interact with those spaces?

I am inspired by movement, light, courage, color, waves, poetry, nature, longing, and perseverance.
