I enjoy designing and fabricating one-of-a-kind contemporary wearable art using precious metals and gemstones. Seeing my ideas emerge from a drawing to a beautiful piece of jewelry and being able to share my creations with others continues to keep my creative juices flowing. I specifically am fascinated with the interplay of color and texture that I bring to my designs, being inspired by nature and ancient cultural symbols. I use a variety of techniques such as cloisonne enameling, stone setting, lapidary, alloying, granulation, and fusing. Bringing out the natural beauty in the raw materials I use and transforming these materials into desirable objects of adornment feeds my heart and soul.
