The acrylic painting begins with the artist’s perspective, gazing at the back of an elderly woman who is admiring the landscape of the lake. Although she does not enjoy the heat enough to jump into the cold water, she is leisurely taking in the natural surroundings and enjoying the afternoon in a relaxed manner.

Joohyun Ha
My name is Joohyun Ha and I’m an artist based in SF bay area. After graduating with a master’s degree in educational psychology in Leuven, I continued my career as an educator. After I settled in the United States, I embarked on my career as an artist. I studied painting at the community college and now I’m working as an instructor in a studio. For me, there’s nothing quite as rewarding as spreading happiness through sharing experiences of art.
