Susie Idzik

The act of viewing a painting is an entirely original experience and is a moment of recollection. I ask that the viewer bring their own story to my work rather than to merely interpret my story. In other words, I strongly encourage viewers to make of my work what they will in relating it to their own life story.

I received my BA in Clay from Tulane University. I have shown in Galleries in New Orleans and San Francisco. I have lived in the Bay Area for the past 40 years and have participated in Open Studios numerous times.
