This painting is an original image painted in Oils on canvas. I observed these two lions while on Safari on the Masai Mara in Kenya Africa. They were always together as is common for female lions. Female lions often stay together for life, bonded as sisters, mothers, friends, family. Their obvious deep affection for each other inspired me to paint them.
