I started learning how to paint a few years ago. I’ve studied Bay Area figurative artists like Diebenkorn and Thiebaud, as well as older Impressionist artists. I am still on my journey learning how to make something out of marks on canvas. After a while, that canvas starts to look like something, and I feel better about having brought that to life.
