"Heavy landing" is a free-standing sculpture at c. __4.5" in height and made __predominantly of stainless __steel. This will withstand tough weather, and ____responds to the air currents dynamically.____The dragonfly body is made of __copper, and the __dandelion head is made of brass. The hand forged __stainless __leaves have a slate black patina with green __and yellow accented sections, then __sealed and __protected with a pigmented wax. The base of the __sculpture is __patinated in slate black and also waxed, __and attached to a marble base __securely, for added __stability.__$6900

I’m a metal artist based in the Bay Area
I create bespoke sculptures and objects of beauty. My main inspiration comes from nature, environment around as well as issues of humanity, like climate change. My practise as a metalworker is broad. I hit things, set them on fire, weld them, solder them and hopefully make them look better and more interesting than in its original material form. Commission and restoration work possible.
