I am an accidental watercolor artist. In the early summer of 2008, my wife was planning on taking Robert Dvorak’s art workshop in Greece and I wanted to go along to just visit the beautiful Greek Islands. But, I found myself nowhere near the beaches, trapped in a drawing and painting workshop for two full weeks! To my surprise, I discovered that I liked both drawing and watercolor, and I continued to paint after this trip. Now I paint plein air once a week and participate in other painting activities whenever I have time.
