.After 27 years of owning my faux finishing company, Artistic Finishes-Faux Designs, I decided it was time to paint in my studio instead of going to clients homes to paint. I have always loved the ocean, the sound of the waves, the smell of the sea, the calming effect it has on me. I mostly paint seascapes but also some landscapes. I paint in Acrylic because for so many years I used more toxic paints in my business and I wanted to get away from that.

I paint from my own photographs or from those of friends. I love to paint the movement of the water, the spray of the surf and detail in cliffs and rocks.

I have shown at Pacific Art League in Palo Alto and University Art in Redwood City. My paintings are currently hung at Peninsula Natural Medicine a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist in San Carlos, CA. I mainly sell my paintings from word of mouth and my Facebook page, Margo Felice Bangert – Paintings & Instagram margo_felice_bangertpaintings, and now my web page www.margobangert.com. Silicon Valley Open Studios is a very successful way to sell my paintings.
