Shiny White Glaze on Recycle Pieces
These are bowls thrown with recycled clay. Some of the clay body leaves speckles that can only be seen if the piece is glazed. The white glaze lets you see through to the clay body.

Peggy Farrell
Welcome to my page! This is my 16th year with Silicon Valley Open Studios. I’m excited to show my ceramics this year with an emphasis on Minis. I’ll still have my watercolors and oils up on the walls this May. Open Studios is a wonderful time to check out artists in our studios and reconnect with old friends and colleagues! I’ll be in the studio both Saturday and Sunday, May 10- 11th, from 11 to 5 pm!
Don’t forget that nothing is better than a gift of an original piece of artwork, especially Minis (they are soo cute!)! Sunday, the 11th of May, is Mother’s Day! Invite your mom to the studios or pick up a watercolor, oil painting, or some ceramics pieces for her. I don’t giclee or color print my work, so it’s all original. See you on May 10th and 11th from 11 am to 5 pm!
Peggy is a San Francisco native and works in this studio on breaks. She attended Mercy High School SF, UCSB, and PAU. Most of her inspiration comes from her love of nature, color, and the mediums of paint and clay. She loves the feeling of awe that she feels in nature.
