The Softer Side of Hyena
While on Safari in Kenya on the Masai Mara we drove past a trench when suddenly this hyena popped up his head. We had interrupted his rest. He had a look of curiosity on his face so unlike the usual snarling aggressive look so commonly seen. I was inspired to paint his softer side.
