Drawing inspiration from urban landscapes, nature, and human interactions, I often explore the dynamic tension between chaos and calm. My work balances the structured elements of architectural forms with the fluidity and spontaneity of natural shapes and textures. I find joy in sketching the vitality of cityscapes as much as I do in portraying the quiet elegance of organic patterns through my mixed media work.
My creative process is both intuitive and deliberate. I begin by observing, sketching quickly to capture the raw essence of a subject. From there, I layer techniques and materials—whether through watercolors, inks, oils, or digital media—to build depth and texture. This layering is symbolic of the complexities of life and personal experience.
As an artist and organizer of Urban Sketching meetups, On-line workshops, and in-person art retreats I am passionate about fostering community and creative growth. I believe art should be accessible and inclusive, offering a space where individuals can express themselves freely and authentically.
