Turtles All the Way Down
"Turtles All the Way Down" is a piece that I created to delve into the concepts of depth, repetition, and the infinite nature of existence. I used soft, atmospheric grays and blues to evoke a sense of vastness, reminiscent of looking into an open sky or the stillness of a reflective body of water. The shapes in the composition, which appear to stack or float, suggest movement, weight, and continuitycapturing the essence of the title. The phrase "turtles all the way down" references an ancient Indian proverb, symbolizing the idea of endless layers and the complexity of reality without a clear beginning or end. It’s a meditation on the infinite and the interconnectedness of all things.

I approach life with curiosity, using painting as a way to process what I see and feel—both as an intimate, immediate experience and as an invitation for others to explore. Through art, I connect with the world around me—its people, landscapes, ideas, and emotions—finding meaning in the interplay between observation and expression.
