Whisper
In this oil painting, I interpret nature experienced in daily life through my own visual l language. The rough tree branches stretched across the lake, the dead logs floating on the water, and the rippling waves swaying in the wind reveal their presence not through standardized forms, but through color and texture. The colors are calm and solemn, almost as if they evoke the sounds of the flowing waves stirred by the wind, the breeze passing between the branches, and the sounds of the branches crashing against each other. I strive to evoke the sounds of nature’s whispers, the murmurs of untold stories, or perhaps the tender lullabies of Mother nature.

Joohyun Ha
My name is Joohyun Ha and I’m an artist based in SF bay area. After graduating with a master’s degree in educational psychology in Leuven, I continued my career as an educator. After I settled in the United States, I embarked on my career as an artist. I studied painting at the community college and now I’m working as an instructor in a studio. For me, there’s nothing quite as rewarding as spreading happiness through sharing experiences of art.
