My latest black and white portraits have an ethereal and otherworldly bent through use of natural light, costumes, and digital effect. I like to take something expected and turn it slightly on its side. Alongside this series, I will be sharing recent explorations in instant film photography, which are mostly neighborhood-scapes from walks with my dog, Louie.

I love work that makes me laugh and didn’t want to leave this side of things out, so you will also find my expressive, sassy portrait figurines who have everyday problems and attitudes. These evolved from a body of mixed media drawings and small clay work over the last 10 years. Maybe you’ll find one or two you can relate to!

In 2022, I was awarded Best in Show at the annual Six Fifty Peninsula Photo Contest in Palo Alto. As a visual artist, I am self-taught and have been shooting for about twenty years and making art of some kind for always.
