Art has always been a part of my life. After working as an architect, I find that I’m drawn to urban scenes and geometry, as well as organic textures found in nature.
I paint mainly in watercolor and acrylic and I enjoy experimenting with different texture mediums. In my acrylic pieces, I try to incorporate the wood grain of the panel into the composition. I love the contrast of the organic texture and lines of the wood grain with man-made geometric shapes. I strive to portray the local beauty of Northern California landscapes and cities in fresh and unique ways.
I exhibit my work at Viewpoints Gallery in Los Altos, Studio Gallery in San Francisco, and QD Gallery in Palo Alto.
