This unique art glass window combines found glass, vintage dishware, and stained glass to create a quilt like pattern rippling with an ever- changing light. It is a framed stained glass window ready to hang in front of an existing window. Leone’s one-of-a-kind glass artwork is created with traditional stained glass and found vintage art glassware collected from antique shops and estate sales. Andrew Leone’s unique and renowned stained glass can be found in galleries, private collections, public buildings and churches.

Andrew Leone
Andrew Leone, has painted in oils, acrylics and mixed media since he was 10 years old and built stained glass windows for decades. He is a founding member of the Sanchez Art Center and designed the art center mural painted with the help local residents and artists. He taught painting and drawing at City College of San Francisco for 18 years and continues to paint, draw, make prints, and create stained glass windows in Studio 14 at Sanchez Art Center. He’s passionate about the art center’s mission "Creating community through art" and loves community art events of all kinds.
His series of paintings entitled "Mechanics of Wonder" and "Opera Meccanica" are the results of a playful dive into the mysterious and awe-inspiring questions we sometimes ask ourselves about consciousness, life, the visible universe, and the invisible world.
Andrew’s stained glass windows are found in many public buildings, churches, and private residences. He’s exhibited his painting, prints, and glass in the Bay Area and beyond.
