Indian John at Nanoose Bay
These paintings are made up of smaller paintings combined into a larger artwork that tells a visual story about a character often someone I knew in my youth who made a special impact on me. John Holland was a first nations man (I think Nimiipuu) who lived with my family when I was a youth living in Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.
